Warranty & Compatibility Policy
Important information about part compatibility, warranties, and your responsibilities.
Last updated: March 2026
1. Compatibility Responsibility
It is the customer's responsibility to confirm that all parts are compatible with their specific machine before installation. DUTP strongly recommends verifying fitment using your machine's make, model, year, and serial number.
While our experienced parts team will assist with compatibility guidance wherever possible, the final responsibility for confirming that a part is suitable for your specific machine lies with the customer. Agricultural equipment can vary significantly between model years, serial number ranges, and regional specifications.
2. Machine Model Confirmation
To help ensure accurate part matching, we recommend providing the following information when requesting a quote:
- Machine make (e.g., John Deere, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, Case IH)
- Machine model number
- Year of manufacture
- Serial number or chassis number
- Part number (if known)
- Photographs of the existing part (if available)
Providing complete machine details significantly reduces the risk of receiving an incompatible part and helps our team source the correct component for your needs.
3. New Aftermarket Parts
New aftermarket parts supplied by DUTP are manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications. These parts are not original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or genuine branded parts unless explicitly stated otherwise. Aftermarket parts offer a cost-effective alternative and are widely used throughout the agricultural industry.
New aftermarket parts may carry a manufacturer's warranty, the terms of which will be specified at the time of sale. Warranty claims on new aftermarket parts are subject to the manufacturer's warranty policy and may require inspection of the part.
4. Used & Salvage Parts
Used and salvage parts are sold in their existing condition. While we inspect and test parts where possible, used parts do not carry the same warranty as new aftermarket parts.
Used and salvage parts may show signs of normal wear, cosmetic imperfections, or surface marks consistent with their age and prior use. These are not considered defects. DUTP will provide honest and accurate condition descriptions and, where available, photographs of used parts before sale.
Limited warranties on used parts may be offered on a case-by-case basis and will be clearly stated in the quotation. Unless otherwise specified, used and salvage parts are sold as-is.
5. Warranty Limitations
Warranties do not cover:
- Damage caused by incorrect installation or improper use
- Normal wear and tear during operation
- Parts installed on an incompatible machine
- Damage caused by overloading, abuse, or neglect
- Failure resulting from contamination, lack of lubrication, or poor maintenance
- Consequential damages such as downtime, crop loss, or additional repair costs
- Parts that have been modified, welded, or altered after purchase
6. Warranty Claims Process
To submit a warranty claim:
- Contact our team within the applicable warranty period
- Provide your quote/order reference number
- Describe the issue and provide photographs of the defective part
- Do not discard the part — it may need to be returned for inspection
- Our team will assess the claim and advise on next steps
Warranty claims are assessed on a case-by-case basis. DUTP reserves the right to inspect the part before approving a warranty claim. Approved claims may result in a replacement part, credit, or refund at DUTP's discretion.
7. Disclaimer
DUTP is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from the use or installation of parts purchased from us. All parts are supplied on the understanding that the customer has confirmed compatibility and accepts responsibility for correct installation and use. Professional installation by a qualified technician is always recommended.
